I agree. I have the feeling that every single information about game mechanic in this game is concealed... I started with ES as my first 4X game...and it took me a week to properly figure out what I was doing (e.g. the consequances of my choices). I won't say EL is counter-intuitive (I don't want to be mean at you DEV, you did an amazing job and make us proud *cocorico*) but at least, I feel that, given this kind of game is complex and rich by nature, dev could at least make the task easier for us the player.



I understand there is a tutorial, and learning how to play is half the fun, but still...



Actualy I'm spending 40% of my "EL time" with EL reduced on taskbar and scrolling forums, shallow written wikis, and helpfull subreddit about EL. and God knows how much I appreciate this game...
