Hello.

I would like to have ruins or abandonned town when I "salt the earth" instead of just a town disapear. (in that case, abandonned/ruin/grayed towns disapear only if you builds another town/district in the same hex: it's just for visual immersion)

I would like to have too a "progressive" visual transformation of a town I captured instead of a insta-change: We already have a percentage that grown over time when capture a city, why not use it for converting a town visual progressively hex by hex from the center (lvl2 districts first, next lvl1: at 25% the center district visual change for the new owner visual, at 50% half the district have changed, at 100%... you get the point)

It's intented to give a more "immersive" way to look at the towns: in the case of a wild walker taking a, see, necrophages town it a bit surprising to see a "complete and instant" conversion... It take time to grow tree over hives, y'know? (but necrophages make good slaves, I agree).

And seeing your broken lord capital captured and progressively turning into a hive town look certainly tragic ^^. A simple way to add some feeling for the player.
