So, being the silly grognard that I am, I've been walking around being slightly irritated by the lack of an Iron Tome and Insignia for using with my heroes. However, I'm not certain what they could use for their stat boosts, since everything seems to be taken already. Anyone got any suggestions for what they could do?



Personally, I was thinking something like the Iron Tome giving either an XP boost to unis in the City/Army (+1/2/4 per turn?) or giving a Population Boost (+1/2/4 Population on the city, that work like minor village Pop), and the Insignia... not a clue. Any suggestions?

Titanium - +1/2/4 Science per opulation: Population.

Glassteel - +1/2/4 Dust per opulation: Population.

Adamantian - +1/2/4 Industry per opulation: Population.

Palladian - +1/2/4 Food per opulation: Population.

Mithrite - +2/4/8 Approval per Unit on City.

Hyperium - +2/4/8 Influence per Hero level on City.

Dust - +30/55/80 experience on units on recruiting.



Insignia:

Titanium - Army Damage Boost 1/2/3 (+4/8/12 Damage, +5/10/15% Damage on Army).

Glassteel - Army Initiative Boost 1/2/3 (+2/4/8 Initiative, +5/10/15% Initiative on Army).

Adamantian - Army Defense Boost 1/2/3 (+3/6/10 Defense, +5/10/15% Defense on Army).

Palladian - Army Attack Boost 1/2/3 (+5/10/15 Attack, +5/10/15% Attack on Army).

Mithrite - Army Resistance Boost 1/2/3 (+3/6/9 Defense, +3/6/9 Initiative on Army).

Hyperium - Army Piercing Boost 1/2/3 (+3/6/9 Attack, +3/6/9 Damage on Army).

Dust - Army Health Boost 1/2/3 (+15/30/45 Life, +5/10/15% Life on Army).

Iron Talisman = +0.5/1/1.5 XP/turn

Iron Tome = 5%/10%/15% unit reduction cost

The Iron Insignia giving the Speed buff would be interesting, and I really like the idea of the Unit Cost reduction on the Tome as well. Great suggestions
