Some things i would like to see

Hey guys its EvilMage. Its my writingday^^

So here is a list of things that would be nice to have.

The most important one first.



1. There is no Animation when i destroy a city. The building Animation is very nice and smooth, but when i destroy one. Which is rare i know, unless you play cultists. It makes poof and... well it doesnt even make poof. Its just gone...



2. I would like to set Autofight as the standartoption. I play more macrostyle i use autofight nearly all the time.



3. An Automoveoption would be nice too. I would simply give a moveorder for more than one turn and turn on guardmode. The guardmode would turn off when the movement is finished.



4. The computer always moves first. But with autopopups i often dont see in which direction he went. So the better option would be to turn auto pop-ups off. But i think they are comfortable.

How about a delay of 5 secs. optional of course. I can decide about whatever i want to pop up, maybe a little bit later? Just to see the bot-units leave my sight.



5. I would like to choose the herodesign of my starting hero. All the races have at least two if i see this right. I´d like to play my winter Drakken at the start.



6. Everyone who bought the game was confused about the mezari. They look like an own race. Maybe present them as a vaulters skinoption and take them off the selctionscreen.



7. I would like to mark more than one save by holding shift. They are piling up and there are no shortkeys or sth. like that.



8. Most of the Artworks show the Infantrie units with spear and shield. None of them can take one. Why is that? It would be far cooler to choose between sword or spear. Each combined with a shield.

Maybe as a third option. This could make Infantry a little stronger.



9. Last one. The holding positions and the scaling of weapons for some units could be reworked.

Gauran for example, or Silics.

But they dont use spears AND shields, do they? Thats what this is about. An cavallerie slayer with a defensive stand. More realistic and very cool. Of course the dmg would be lesser than the two handed spear.

I would like to have ruins too.



And even a more progressive town change when a faction capture another faction city: /#/endless-legend/forum/6-game-design/thread/3455-suggestion-about-towns-ruins-or-convertion-of-a-town.

The Game really needs to a animation for a destruction of a Minor Faction or Main Faction city

Maybe this is only tangentially related, but I'd like a pop-up that says 'Our Watchestowers have spotted enemies moving in our lands' if a hitherto unspotted enemy force suddenly shows up in my land. If I'm fighting a war half way across the world I may not(as I have done in the past) notice an army walking into the my lands. Maybe this could just be a feature of watchtowers? Give them a bit more of a watchtower feel than just lighthouses?

YES!! Bulls eye on this point! Cause, isn't that the whole point of having watchtowers.

While watchtowers are nice at the moment I really do feel this little feature would make it actually feel like you're being invaded and not that the enemy are just walking into your lands.





I mentioned watchtowers being lighthouses above, and it actually got me thinking. A lighthouse improvement could be nice. Maybe it could give extra dust to coastal trade routes leaving the city?
