That actually sounds like a pretty acceptable strategy to me.

It makes the traits valid more than just military rush tactics.



You have to keep in mind to grab those traits you are also giving up potential passives that would benefit you the whole game.

You might exchanging them for the museum and it's bonuses, but, you are still putting your trait points at risk.

if i have to chose on that or to have +1 industry on terrain whit industry..well have +1 on terrain whit industry is not a so big thing..have 6-10 point on industry as extra in the beginning not make the difference for me,not give me a significative bust.

I regard the +1 industry trait as very useful. The extra industry does not just apply at the start, and can quickly snowball, as more industry and better starting points means you can potentially build things 1.5-2 times faster than other players, making your cities far better at the start. This makes it possible to rush all the other wonder buildings faster at the expense of the first one. It is a choice you have to make, and depends on your playstyle. Neither is more or less op than the other, simply caters to a different game plan.

IMO I think this new add-on just make those 2 traits viable. Priviously, I found them pretty lackluster.
