Weather is great, i love the feature of the game but i also have a problem.



just because it is winter, the entire planet freezes up? I have a hard time believing that. My suggestions:



Local Weather (i mean with the whole zone mechanic it should be possible)

Seasons (come on only winter and spring? is this Game of Throne or what?)

spring, summer and autumn should be possiblities as well



If it were in my range of abilites i would give seasons benefits aswell as drawbacks.

I live in Taiwan, so I can vouch that places with only two seasons totally exist.

Ya but this is an entire globe we're talking about here. It would definitely be interesting if each region had different climates to factor in... overly complicated sure, but interesting.

There is a reason why there is only 2 weathers; it is tied to the lore of the game.

In ancient times, Auriga suffered from the dreadful cataclysms which almost destroyed it. The world recovered but is now showing signs of aftershocks, hinting at another oncoming cataclysm. These aftershocks are manifested in the form of radical seasonal changes, between only Summer and Winter.

So by lore, Auriga has only summer and winter, no other weather.



However the local weather idea seems really good. Each zone can have a random weather effect to affect the production of FIDS. Although, I assume it will a pain in the ass to actually make the system work given that you will need additional graphical effects to the displayed in every zone to indicate the weather.
