I love the tactical hexmap, but what frustrates me is that it is too small, limiting too much the choices.



An hexagon in the 'auriga map' should expand into a 'sphere' of 7 hexes in combat mode: 1 in teh middle + 6 around it. That would give us a sprawling battlefield, with much more leeway for tactical positioning, advance, retreat etc.

You could simultaneously shrink a bit the number of 'auriga map' hexes which are expanded into the combat map to not make it too large, if you think tripling the combat map is too much.
