I find that the combat animations really drag out the fights. I'd like the option to turn them off in the video settings, so fights could resolve quicker. Could that be a thing, plz?

There is an option to make animations faster... speed scale factor





Also , there is a hack you can try to change combat animations speed while ingame:



1) uncompress the save game.

in the file Endless Legend\GameSaveDescriptor.xml

change the value for 3 to a bigger value... like 30.

2) recompress the save game



Another option is to hack the games speed directly in the public directory : C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Endless Legend\Public\Options\GameOptionDefinitions.xml

This, specifically, I've never tried... probably it is possible to simply change one of them to 30...

this will make the combat annimations become simple blinks.



The "mess with save file " option I've tested and it work, at least for single player games

Skipping combat animations by proposition a game option to make them ultra fast would be a must in multiplayer. 50 % of the waiting time is constitued by combat animations wasted time.
