I agree with those who have complained that the step up from Normal to Hard is uncomfortably large. For an example, please look at the two attached save games, in which I gave my best effort to the same faction. At Hard difficulty I'm solidly in the cellar, whereas at Normal it's clearly mine to lose. Please give some attention to reducing the size of this hurdle.



One additional criticism of the website: If you won't allow us to stay logged in, at least return us to the page we were trying to access after we log in.



Otherwise, it's clear the dev team has worked hard and responded effectively to user feedback. Having played Civ 4 & 5 along with EU4, not to mention competitive chess, I understand why PC Gamer put you at number one on their list of strategy games. I especially enjoy the colorful, varied, random maps and colorful, asymmetrical, playable factions.

It is kind of weird the way it works, but there is a workaround. If you log in by trying to reply, there is an option to remain logged in. Be aware that logging in to the G2G sub-domain will cancel this.
