The runners-up should really get to be minor factions, or go into an expansion, or something. There's just too many good ideas here to waste.

Needless to say, I have a couple of ideas but I wanted to save them for part two of the competition. But, to clarify - as I pointed out in the "biology" section, it's just the young Mesaima that can only survive for up to three weeks. Adults can live much longer because they're safely hidden inside bodies that are better prepared to face harsh environment.



EDIT: lol, Devildog's faction is kinda similar to mine in that regard, so I guess you need to specify which one you were talking about adventurer ^_^

Ottopoika I dig your aquatic race. I love the idea of utilizing water tiles more but I don't think it is fair to the other factions to have the ability to build in the sea as it might make it difficult for the other faction to attack. Great job on your write up I hope there are more ideas for aquatic like races. Did you check out mine? Tell me what you think.

But seriously, I like several of the ideas that have been posted (and greetings to my fellow religious/cult faction creators). I'm not even sure my faction, with its fancy stockpiling mechanic, will make it through the front door. The level of creativity on display here is nothing short of intimidating.
