More Details on the Digital Deluxe Edition

Hi everyone,

Tomorrow is the big day! Endless Space 2 will be available on Steam Early Access at 7pm (CEST - Paris time).

We've updated the minimum requirements on the Steam store page, so feel free to have a look to make sure your PC can run it. Here they are anyway:

Minimum:

OS: Windows (64bits only) 7 / 8 / 8.1 / 10
Processor: i3 4th generation / i5 2nd generation / A6 series
Memory: 4 GB RAM
Graphics: AMD Radeon 5800 series / NVidia 550Ti
DirectX: Version 11
Storage: 8 GB available space
Sound Card: DX11 compatible
Additional Notes: Minimum Resolution: 1280 x 720

Recommended:

OS: Windows (64bits only) 7 / 8 / 8.1 / 10
Processor: i3 5th generation (or newer) / i5 3rd generation (or newer) / FX4170 (or newer)
Memory: 8 GB RAM
Graphics: AMD Radeon 8000 series or newer / NVidia GTX 660 or newer

Additional Notes: Recommended Resolution: 1920 x 1080

Also, you will be able to choose from two editions of Endless Space 2:

The Standard Edition available at $39,99 / £34,99 / € 39,99, with a 25% discount ($29,99 / £26,24 / € 29,99)
The Deluxe Digital Edition available at $49,99 / £44,99 / € 49,99, also with a 25% discount ($37,49 / £33,74 / € 37,49), which contains the digital soundtrack by FlybyNo and cosmetic in-game bonuses inspired by the Pathfinders of the Academy.

Note that the Founder Bonuses are only available during the Early Access. Those bonuses are the Cravers Prime fleet skin, a special forum award, G2G points, forum avatars and a unique forum title!

I have only a

Intel® Xeon® Processor X5260 (6M Cache, 3.33 GHz, 1333 MHz FSB)processor spec

so... I can't play it with this processor, right???

Bloody hell mate. That rivals the i7 (Which is *better* than the i3 and i5). I'm pretty sure it'll run the game. if not, you can always ask for a refund.

Are you planning to put an upgrade from standard to digital deluxe on steam? I got standard cause I couldn't wait, but when I could afford deluxe... I ended up with steam telling me "No can do, you already have the other one so you can't get it for yourself!"... I hope to see an upgrade option...

Soundtrack only in Deluxe Edition? That's... a little sad.

Also - I'm a bit curios about those requirements. Going by EL, I shouldn't be able to run it, but I still play EL on highest settings... hope to see this happen again in ES2. :)

Digital Deluxe for Digitalhawk96 congrats in advance my friend.^^

Though you with SEGA now and someone has not to fear for the existants of the studio I will buy the Deluxe Edition so that I can support you the most.
If there is one game I know I can spend money on in early acess then it will be the ones from the Endless Series.
