Hey everyone,


The Play-to-win Community Challenge is over! Our target was 250,000 unique players to unlock all six rewards, and you were over 240,000 to have played on Monday evening. With a few minutes to spare and seeing all that you had accomplished so far, we decided that the nicest way to thank you for your involvement was to give the progress bar the little nudge it needed to reach 100%, because you totally deserved it. Congratulations to all, and thanks for playing!




Here is a recap of all the rewards:

    Blast from the past! Unlocks the ancestral Mezari fleet skin for the United Empire.



As a thank you for your huge participation, we have decided to keep the 50% off promotion going for another day! All these rewards will be unlocked in an upcoming update, slated for December, so are at most a few weeks away!

Wow, I'm impressed. I haven't expected this weekend to become so successful! Great news! 


I'm looking forward to all the rewards. When I first read about the free weekend rewards, I was most thrilled about the new Galaxy. 


But there's so much good stuff on here. New ship modules sound amazing! Man, I'm looking forward to see their effects in space battles! I'm also really interested in the skills of the new hero. As a big fan of the United Empire, it's needless to say what I think about the Mezari skin. (hype!)


Thank you very much guys. I got this game in April and had so much fun since then. With all the work you've put it in, month after month the game became even better and more fun. It's a well-rounded and most importantly well-supported package which is worth every buck spent.


It's so good to see that you care. And a little thread about my experiences in another forum was the least I could do to spread the word.

I am curious.


The new weapon modules, are they intended to be available from the start of a new game to provide diversification with ship design, or are these weapon systems we need to research further down the tech tree?

I'm glad we made it trought the whole week-end and got some nice additional stuff to the game ! I can't really judge since i only have 40 hours of gameplay and still trying to figuring out what am i doing with my Vodyanis but i enjoy it so far, so yeah, thanks Amplitude ! I'm really excited to see what you still have for us behind! :)

While more anomalys are nice, and new modules too, I think I'm most excited for that 6-arm galaxy and the Mezari skins! I really like the detail in the galaxy backgrounds, all the pretty colours and stars, and the new one will be a great addition!


Now all we need is a Broken Lord hero...

Guys You are outstanding !

1. New ship modules. 

2. Event. anomaly.

3. Hero, Fleet skin, galaxy type.


Also I would loved to see DLC with old or new factions. Or EL style DLC with faction + new gameplay element. Of course I dont expect it for free.

Like you cyrob I am most looking forward to the six arm spiral galaxy! I can imagine a 12 player exceptional galaxy size twelve player two per arm galactic mess in need of enfer restructuring! That and of course the ship modules pack.

MEZARI UE FLEET SKIN for the United Empire NOT the Vaulters?
i know they started as a group that decends from the UE but in my eyes they not only wasted a good opportunity to promote the new Vaulters DLC here but although wasted that skin on the UE faction! in my hearth the MEZARI will allways be VAULTERS! or am i totaly wrong here?

I must say this has been a frustrating experience... finding the tech for swarms and railguns in-game via curiosity discover, only to be confused why I could never find the modules when building ships. 


Looking up online that those modules are part of a pack for which I have to register here.. ok fine.  Jumping through that hoop, checking that the community challenge pack is enabled in "content", loading up my save game *to find that I still can't see the modules*.


I started a new game as a test and gave myself the tech via SHIFT F1 thing, and lo and behold, the swarm and railgun modules are available.  Are you kidding me!  I have to start a new game to use these?  I'm already 90 turns in. ugh.
