well how often do you get a combination of great story writers, great visualists, great technogeeks and a brilliant user feedback/marketing idea willing to challenge for original content in an audacious genre?

i can see one or two of those but all of em under one roof? with funding?!!!!

sadly rare.

Yes, I'm sure that sites like Rock Paper Shotgun will be pleased to talk about this very promising game. I hope that Total Biscuit will make a WTF video about Endless Space too. He did it for Starfarer, which is in alpha funding, why not ES ?
