Finally got it too ... :/


Turn 146 I have four IA stuck in combat and I had a bug with a treaty of peace never getting his answer by the sophons unless I reload the savegame I made.

Même chose ici ! Tour 137 - 4 IA "bloquées en mode combat" + une demande d'alliance qui ne finie jamais : tour "en attente" à l'infini.

Je relancerai le jeu quand le bug sera résolu : bien trop gênant.

Also reporting I'm having this bug. I've been a big advocate for Amplitude but as it has been said already, game breaking bugs are a huge letdown. I expected more from the studio and I certainly won't be buying anything else from the studio until it has gone through "release" AKA bug testing.

Considering the game has already been officially released and thus went through "testing", (what on earth else were those months of early access for?) I doubt that will make a difference, Zerrigan.


The appropriate response from Amplitude here would be to give a $10 Steam credit (the difference between early access price and release price) to everyone who bought the game after release, and put it back in EA until the game-breakers are fixed. I (and others, I'm sure) deliberately waited until release, and thus paid the higher price, specifically because I wanted a finished product.

I agree with Sjonnar. I waited for a "final" game to be released, paying the higher price with 10€ more, not a game with such gamebreakers (end turn, saves not loadable...), which making the game unplayable.

Obviously that would go a long way towards restoring some of the trust, but do you honestly think that will happen?

Probably not. But it would be the right thing to do. The bad guys (EA, Ubi, 2K) don't give a damn about trust. Once they have your money in hand, that's it. Game doesn't work? Too bad.


Up to Amplitude if that's the kind of company they want to keep, but if it is, they go on the same list and get treated just like the rest of the scumbags. Pretty sure everybody's sick of paying full price for broken games nowadays. I can't speak for anyone else, but I'm certainly mad enough to blacklist any company that doesn't step up and make it right.

Okay, I was able to resolve my issue last night. I had to update to version 1.05 then go back a two autosaves. Fortunately for me, the error did not reoccur when I hit the same point.

It's disappointing to see a lack of a fix for this bug... if you google it the same bug seems to have been a widespread issue several months ago.

Same problem, the AI is stuck in a encounter.  I reloaded an auto save 10 turns back and the battle keeps happening no matter what I do at turn 291.  This is extremely disappointing I don't even want to start a new game knowing this bug can pop up again.

This bug popped up that has put a show-stopper in my current game. I can't fight the battle, and I can't process the turn. Save file attached, please fix.

Same here.  Since 1.05


Happened in diplomacy screen, and in start of battle screen now.  With diplomacy, I can close screen and continue turn, with battle, your just stuck.

In turn 76 playing as United Empire I attempted to complete  part 3 of the quest "The Living Plague", having chosen to engage the  alien invaders.


I travelled to the Estre system with a  fleet of 5 warships, but found that trying to attack the enemy resulted  in an infinite spinning hourglass. I could escape out of the screen, but  trying to end turn took me straight back to the "Battle At Estre"  screen. The retreat button did not work either, so it looks like my game  is either ruined or I can never interact with the Estre system ever  again.


Interestingly, the enemy fleet - titled  "4th Alien Force" - had a Command Points readout of 5/4 . The fleet  contained one medium ship, and two small ships. It looks like there is a  game breaking bug whereby if an AI has too many ships for their command  points allowance, the game cannot progress normally.


The game version is the 1.0.5 release. I've (attempted) to attach the saved game showing the problem.
