Remove the module from design, it will restore it in creation menu.

Had the same issue - first time playing Vodyani and I gave up in frustration. Is this being fixed?

I have been playing Vodyani recently and it looks like like they fixed it (they fixed that even before i started playing them again).

I have the same problem. I recently bought a game wth DLC's and the first race I chose was Vodiani. But I see here that developers (contrary to what they suggest) don't care about the community and the players. This thread is over 1 year old! And STIL NOT FIXED! I'm already starting to regret the purchase. The game is interesting, but it seems to be underdeveloped and not finished.

I urge you to withhold judgment at this time, my friend. The developers do actually respond to the community, quite often, as well as involve the community in a lot of decisions regarding the development of their games. For instance, the last two factions in Endless Space 2 were the products of a lot of community input. 

With that said, some bugs are harder to fix than others and it can be difficult to track down exactly what causes a bug. You'll also notice that the developer in this thread asked not once, but twice, for a saved game file and I don't think one was posted yet. This makes it even harder to track down a bug. 

I wouldn't throw in the towel yet. This is a solid community and the developers are actively involved in the game and the community.

Thank you for your kind words and for your opinion. I konw, they asked for a savegames, but also in this thread devs wrote that they managed to repeat the bug. 10 months ago... If this is responding to community voices, I probably know other standards. Creating new DLCs even with players is nice. It is also a source of income. Fixing bugs is a cost. Here you can see that nobody wants to pay it. It's a one-sided approach. I am a programmer by profession and I know from my experience that finding the cause of a problem can be complicated. But it doesn't last 10 months! Seriously :-) I look at the case coolly and I am not impressed with the marketing strategy of the company (we love players and they love us). I bought a product advertised as ready, but it is not. just like that.

Please don't get me wrong. I think the game is good and addictive. That's why I'm so sad. But the longer I play it, more bugs I find. Sometime you can't select fleet in the system. It is possible only from the fleet management screen. On diplomacy screen are switched names of treaties,  descriptions of resources do not fit in menu. I do not mention the quality of the translation. This title has its own age already and such things should be fixed long time ago.

I'm not giving up the game yet and I hope that some patches will come out. That's why I write here :-)
