I have the same issue, its really frustrating turn 234 in hard mode ... what can we do to fixe this definitly ?

Actually, I though it was fixed by the first patch after Nakalim DLC released. At least I never encountered it again in my playthroughs. :)

for some reason the original diagnostics file can't be added even when compressed. uncompressed it has over 500mb.

Edit: just saw the thing about vodyani, I have two of them in the game when it happens..

Steam patch preview under beta should do the trick.

I know this is an old thread, but I was just playing a multiplayer match as the Vodyani with my friend and we seem to have run into this very same issue.

Suddenly at turn 59, after a couple of clicks, nothing works. Can't move ships, can't add buildings to queue, can't choose research, nothing.

We're playing the latest version of the game (1.5.60) with all DLCs. I believe that the bug is related to the Vodyani quest bug because this was the first time that I progressed the main Vodyani quest beyond chapter 2. I always play Vodyani and never progress beyond it and we never experienced this bug before.

Please help! We really love the game and don't wanna loose our save. The match was pretty intense.
