  Battles are still a work in progress at this stage, and will probably continue to be until we're 100% satisfied.

To answer an earlier question, you'd unlock specific battle plays through later technologies and with I believe some Hero skills (not sure about that bit).

Awesome, thank you! I figured that would be the case, considering thats how you unlocked battle cards in ES1 (Although I think they would make cool quest rewards too, especially quests revolving revolving around heroes )
