Is there a way to get rid of minor faction populations on my planet?

Exactly I started a game with a Kalgeros minor pop, and every election my home system would get hit with a -30 approval when milatirists won, I would be good to purge them similar to Stellaris.

Yeah main way right now is to pump religion and get racial purity act, which is difficult.

No need for the law. Under Vodyani rule, all must wear the cloth.

Been playing with space slugs. After conquering the whole galaxy I returned to my home planet. I was so disappointed to find only the minor faction present. I mean, it's my home planet. No way I can let this slide.

Can't have a 4x game featuring population management without deportation, assimilation and genocide. Here's hoping for a future update!

Homogeneity rules!  Build a galactic wall!  That'll stop the lousy rapists & criminals.

I wish we didn't start with minor races on our home planet at all. It makes no sense, and I hope it's just an Alpha test to see how the political system works under a 100 turn limit. If this is the way it's going to be in the final game, then we need to be able to purge without empire-killing consequences.

We shouldn't be forced to accept assimilation with other races if we want to role-play a more hostile and genocidal empire. Or more importantly, be on the receiving end of conflict with one. If every alien we encounter in the Galaxy is composed of a mixed, assimilated empire then it waters down whatever unique qualities each alien has.

It's possible the mixed pop start is a way to diversify but also to test the feature in early stages of the game. What could be neat is having a random minor pop, though I suppose it could get you on "false start" games...

Cravers can't be reasoned with, there's no way they can be integrated into society either.

It would be like Silent Mobius, exactly like that; people scared to go out at night, getting eaten in the back-alleys with no way to defend themselves.

Hopefully will be refined soon, population and the major faction dynamics. Should be a great experience having 8 major factions which all play and feel differently to one another.

As it stands though, population and happiness is a bit of an uphill struggle, early-alpha so go figure; speaking of which, there's been any mention of patch cycles at all? Once every two months or something else entirely?

I find it odd that the only way to be genocidal is by going with Voydani, who normally take the populations of other races as slaves; but the Cravers, who flat out eat everything organic, have to put up with these other pops driving their happiness down with no recourse.

I get one of the copnects of behind the Cravers is to make their planets undesirable targets for conquest, but there really should be some kind of "Kill all the people, I don't want to deal with them" option when doing ground invasions.

There is no way to remove the craver affinity from the game.  If you go to war with them and defeat them, they remain and deplete your planets afterwards.

I haven't got a confirmation for this yet, but it appears that currently a depleted planet has the same FIDSI output with an undepleted one. The only difference is that Cravers depleting a planet have a bonus while doing that.

I'm not sure if it's supposed to work this way.

I suspect it's to have some diversity among your population's bonuses & political leanings. I hope they flesh out how they got there a bit more than just "they start out there with no explanation", but for now I'll chalk that up to "testing out raw mechanics in Early Access".

I think it will be hard to purge minor factions if you start with a Democracy.

Maybe an option for later in the game? Gain the ability to purge minor factions, when you establish a dictatorship?

Personally, I don't see the Sophons for example purging anyone, experimenting on minor factions would be a different story :p

-The Sophons & Lumeris could send them off to other controlled systems.

-The Cravers could consume them.
