It's big and looks bad ass, but my first encounter with one of these it insta popped during a battle (some 4k shields vaporized in seconds, one missile later it was gone) It was a disappointing encounter.

You can hire it from the mercenaries section of the marketplace. I've never seen the minors use it either.

Where are you seeing the fourth slot? I just checked it out, and there are three unused slots right now. Of course, it's possible that they updated the wiki between you and me checking it out.

I wonder if that ship in the OP is one of the pirate ships. I noticed earlier today some medium-sized Reaver ships coming along and wrecking my fleets, and they had different designs than from before the update. It's definitely a sleek and aggressive design... though I don't know why there are tusks on it. Reminds me of a mix of 40k stuff - eldar, tyranid.

seconding the 'not ecological design' thing. Doesn't look like a Horatio ship at all, and I'm assuming at this point that they are the Ecologists. Probably not Unfallen either. My vote is on it being a minor faction or pirate vessel.

EDIT: I just checked in-game, and the spoiled ship looks like a 'Jaw'-class ship, the medium sized hunter pirate vessel.

It doesn't look very Ecological...if anything, it looks more like a spartan gas guzzling murder machine.
