Someone trusts those?
Also everyone is different and to judge/rate the game he has to experience it. Best way of course play it, but you can not play it untill purchased so, play at friends pc or watch youtube, read info about.
But trusting someone to rate the game for you and say it is good to purchase, no no no no that is a poor choice.

They also made a 15 minutes commentary on Endless Space 2 in their weekly video (starting at 50:40 trough the end, also available as audio only): https://www.gamekult.com/emission/endless-space-2-se-mange-sans-faim-3050795457.html

They raised many constructive critics and questions in their video, in my opinion :)

I read a statement from him some time ago that said he was no longer boycotting SEGA.

While we're at it:

Entire day eaten by Endless Space 2. A lot more needed to get a video on it, but I'll discuss on the podcast.

I have played a lot of ES, EL and Stellaris and I think ES2 is great! I definitely think it is better than Stellaris.

What I really liked about EL was the rich battle units you could create. There were so many unit types and ways to configure them it made it fun to just see what you could create and how it did in battle. Same with Stellaris. They have a rich set of ship designs and layouts.

So .. please keep up the great work on ES2 and keep expanding the game.

He'll upload the video to YouTube but I can tell you he's really enjoying it. Said he spent a whole day playing and really likes all the mechanics at play. Pretty high praise from him, good job!
