Just wanted to add on that the latest patch did not change anything. So this is a [0.3.5] issue. I really didn't expect [0.3.5] to do anything given that it was aimed at the AI, but figured it was worth noting.
Today I started to fiddle with my settings, and found out I was having the same problem. Just bumping this thread so the devs see that you are not the only one with the problem.
My screen is 1920*1080 144hz, I run the game on fantastic quality and it doesn't matter if I use my native resolution or a higher resolution
