Economy Scan View bug?

Hello,

I'm not sure if this has been reported, but I recently picked up the game again and it seems the "Economy View" that you can access by zooming out in the general galaxy view and press the Scan button it not working properly. After zooming out from the "System Scan" view, it should go into the "Economy View" but it does not display the appropriate information. It seems its just "copying" the "Trade Scan" view (accessed by continuying to zoom out) as if it just skips that economic view screen.

I assume this is a bug, correct? Or am I missing something? I remember having access to this view in which I could get a summaried information through these pixelated areas representing FIDS.

Hello,

without screen it is always hard to tell. However I might be wrong, but I think they replaced pixelated FIDS with another view.

Below I'm sending 2 screens- one from general galaxy economy & second with zoomed systems (playing without UC).

Hey! Thanks for the reply!

It seems odd to have it replaced because the "Economic" and "Trade" view now seem to be pretty much the same? This is why I think it might be a bug, because there appears to be no reason to have two distinct view names for the same information and I used to find this view useful for a quick overview of the systems. The "System" view is fine though, just as yours. In my game the economic and trade views look like this (also without UC):

Glad that I could help you somehow.

Regarding 2 same views. From my obervation there are only two differences between economy and trade.

1) Trade view gives you information about profit that your trade companies make (dust, sience, luxuries), while "economic" is nothing more than just galay preview without all sparkles ;)

2) On economic you can see all planet names, while trade gives you only names of your planets + other factions capitals

Sadly I had a break from ES2 so I can't help and tell when did they change it. .
