The free camera was always clunky in Endless Space, especially since you couldn't rotate it properly around a third axis. It seems like this has carried over into ES 2 and I was really hoping that could be addressed. The cinematic camera is fine but sometimes it switches around a little too much and makes you want to free camera it up. Please put in something similar to the camera controls from other strategy games like Total War where you can click the central mouse button and freely rotate.
