Requirements
Strategic Resources can be divided into Energies and Ores
All (Most) Modules are ore typed or energy typed
If you add an´module it is the archetype of it in the highest available tier
Idea
If you select the module you can downgrade the tier to save costs
You can add a resource linked to the module type, every resource has a different effect which cost and effectiveness scale with the tier and the rarity of the resource
Instead of researching enhanced modules you unlock the ability to add the resources excluding energy and ore of the same tier
with a separation for military and civil modules the number of researches stays the same

More Variation of Modules
Less Modules to select in main design window
The choice for ore or energy is more important
Low tier Resources have an effect in Endgame
Example
Energy typed modules are:
Energy weapons / Shield / Engine / Offensive Buffs ...
Whitch can be combined with
Hyperium / Anti-Matter / Quadrinix
Imagine a Beam
Hyperium adds shield penetration per 1/3/6/9/12 Hyperium
Anti-matter enhances Rate of Fire per 1/2/3/4/5 Anti-Matter
Quadrinix adds medium range and increased accuracy per tier for 1/1/2/2/3 Quadrinix
