Planet observing option

Greetings, citizens.

There are many beautyful things in ES2, but some of them available only in small portions. Ex: planet preview then you're visiting it for first time. This fullscreen display, with planet occupying most part of it plus some viable information. I fell in love with this feature then I saw it!

Also, there are lot of ideas from the community about faction decor floating in the air.

So I suggest: what if add option to observe every planet that you're already visited in any time? Like some small button near planet in star system interface. Push it and you will have full-screen view of the planet, like the one I've mentioned abobe, or like game's main menu. Planet in all it's grace, slowly rotating and with cities on it, spaceships and stations orbiting it, small vessels flying in atmosphere, etc., etc., etc (remember this faction decor hype I've mentioned before?). 

This offers huge field to display a lots of stuff: cities varying in size and architecture, depending on population and faction, planet anomalies, moons, and even your fleet anchored above that planet - and lots more, everything that dev team decides.

Also there can be some info about planet near it (like FIDS info in first-visit preview): name, population, meaningful info about resource gains, luxury resources, interesting facts (like size, weight, distance from the star, etc.), and more. This info can be consistent, or pop out and fade away one by one (in this case screen will not be overloaded by information and mainly will represent visual information about planet, not text one (also can work like awesome screensaver!)).

It would be nice to have option to move things aside and make pause in intence life of galactic empire ruler and just sit with cup of tea, observing one of your planets, enjoyng it's beautyful or formidable views and proudly gazing on it.
