Ground Battle - Naval Units (on planets with oceans)

I don't think that would do much of anything, since you would drop your army off from a space ship, so you would just go over where you want to invade. It's not like it's from one continent to another or anything like that, so there's no need for a navy.

After second thought, you're right. I was thinking that it may serve as an extra defense bonus under specific conditions.

it will not add much as you say. I'm just used to play games with a lot of micro management and big item catalogs . So indulgent of me .
