Benefits section in ship design

Actually this could be expanded to include the damage reduction of beam / projectile weapons from shields / armour.
And also include the sum of shield value.

Also, it would be great to know about following:

1. how Attack/Defense/Cost will change if I'll use specific module (without placing that module first)?
2. does Movement speed affect combat?
3. does module "+X to weapon damage" affect only current ship or all in flotilla?

offtop: "rotating ship" state shouldn't be activated if cursor is in "modules list" part of the screen

Yes please. I feel like I am shooting in the dark when I am designing ships currently.
