I would like to see the option to disallow duplicate heroes implemented into the game start screen. It is sort of immersion breaking to see three of the same guy running around in the galaxy when you know that the Horatio aren't around (at least not yet.) It could also add an element of scarcity to the hero system that could be fun in some cases. I suppose this would only work in a game where everyone is different factions but I think it could be really cool. I've played every Endless game and always thought the hero system could benefit from this. Again, this would be totally optional, available in the game start screen.

we cannot do it, as we need a fallback when all heroes are assigned. we try to do enough heroes so this is not often that it happens.
