I HAD AN IDEA:

How about a turn-based Victory? The players could choose their Victory style at the beginning of the game. Then the players pick a Turn-Based victory, such as, "at turn 350," the scores are compared.

So, if one player picks Dust Victory and the other player picks a Conquest Victory - at the end of turn 350 - the scores are compared and a winner is picked!

I think this idea would bring more strategy and aggressive game-play.

Let's say, I pick Dust Victory, but my opponent picks Conquest Victory - It would be challenging to raise my score level and preventing his score level by the end of, let's say, turn 150.

Any feedback or thoughts are welcomed. Was this a helpful idea or suggestion?

I believe there is already a score victory by turn 200. Making players choose their victory type, and making it public to other players, could lead to some interesting counterplay. However, it also pigeonholes the player into one victory type. If he finds himself lacking in duct production but making tons of science, he may wish that he'd chosen the research victory. If you are only allowed to pursue one type of victory at a time, you should at least be able to change it. Maybe make it so that the faction in power decides which victory types are available.
