Allow us the option to skip planet cinematics

You can turn it off in the settings. I believe it's "Display Cutscenes".

I mean, just the part where you zoom in on to the planet. I don't want to turn off those glorious faction cut-scenes.  

I hear ya :) I don't know how to do one without the other though, sorry. 

I agree. When my exploration ship go to systems after systems to check for anomalies having those little (mostly unskipable) cutscenes each time is a bit annoying.

Currently you can click to skip planet by planet. It's not so long. :)

It's not so long yes, but you have to do it repeatedly for every system you encounter. Plus, not every people might be able to skip properly due to their computer not being that powerful.
