I was playing a Riftborn game where I was setting up preserves for all of the minor factions on a huge map.    At one point I had 3 pop units transferring to a newly created science sector because they were the best (and only) science oriented minor faction units I had.  


It took about 25 turns for these pops to transfer between systems.   Some sort of system where we can upgrade/improve logistic ship speed would have been appreciated.


My current suggestion is that instead of a + 1 ship for every Trade HQ upgrade, you get a +1 speed modifier instead (for that HQ/routes).  My mental math says that this is a nerf to trade, but as I also think that econ wins are way too easy, it works for me.  


Other options would be tech related, maybe a pair of +2's spread throughout the tech tree systems or a generic law that improves logistic ship speed.
