Pirates look like they belong to a minor civilization. -Picture-

Pirate ships look like they belong to a minor civilization and come from nowhere. A simple color change and mechanic that they actually come from somewhere shouldn't be too resource consuming(hive already wishlisted but an even simpler mechanic would be great), they are just irritating mobs in game right now and try to ruin the awesome game immerson. 

They also should block civilian ships like the food transport for an outpost.
