Hey everyone,

As promised last week, here is our focus on the Alliance System Obyguane and Meedoc have discussed in last week's interview, but also a short focus on the Galaxy Balancing.

ALLIANCE SYSTEM

Base
• Someone in the alliance decides to make a treaty with someone outside of the alliance:
• Peace
• War
• Invite to alliance
• Cease fire
• A request is sent to all other members of the alliance.
• The others give their reaction regarding to the treaty: I agree / disagree.
• Those who agreed stay in the alliance. Those who disagreed quit the alliance.
•
Notifications
• When an ally has signed a treaty with someone, the player receives a notification which contains:
• The treaty which has been signed.
• The status’ change applied by the acceptance of the treaty.
• The person who signed the treaty is the only one who receives the answer of his allies.
•
Worst Status
• At the end of a turn, if a player in an alliance did not reply to a request (or ignored it), he agrees by default and therefore stays in the alliance.
• If there are de-synchronizations regarding status in the alliance, the worst status is chosen.
•
Diplomatic Negotiations Panel
• A “tendency” panel was added between the resources summary.
• When clicking on a treaty (before offering it), the allied AIs’ tendency to agree or leave the alliance, if you offer it, is displayed. The answers vary from “undecided” to “maybe yes” or “maybe no”.
• All Human players will respond undecided/will not say.
•
Panel Summary Notification
• At the beginning of a turn, if various treaties were made the previous turn, a summary notification is sent if:
• The player did not answer/ignored one alliance request.
• If players answered treaties differently and therefore the players’ status changed.
• The notification contains the new status between you and the other players.
•
GALAXY BALANCING

Here’s also a sneak peak on the Galaxy Balancing option:

It will mainly affect one very important aspect of the galaxy generation. It adds equal distribution of the System Population to Galaxy Generation. You will be able to choose between:
• Perfect
• Average
• Weak
• No Balance

Next focus: the Automatons!
