I voted no, id like to see some sort of development with the current heros, maby specilised events that occour only for them and could give hints towards their and your empires story.

In civ you choose a leader. But it's like the faction traits (gameplaywise). But I, too, would like to see some representation of myself in the game.

Yes, that's what i meant^^ It's a hero but a little bit special because it's you (your avatar in the game), with some additionnal skills (maybe a level 25 and new skills).

I dont understand your question lol. Yes.. hero to lead the fleets. Just like any other random one that would appear at start except this one would be created either pre-game or during. The purpose would be to increase the players involvement and personalized fell.
