Looking at the effects of an improvement it will say the planet types it effects. +2 on arctic, etc. my question is what does it mean when it says +2 on Planet? I mean they're all planets right?



Edit: to clarify, when looking at the tech PEV scale accelerators it says +2 on planet +2 on arctic and +2 on barren. Why say on planet while the rest of it is for very specific planet types?

The effects are additive. So, if the improvement gives you +2 on arctic, +2 on barren, and +2 on planet, you get +4 on arctic and barren planets and +2 on all other planets. (I don't know if asteroids get the +2 or not.)
