I agree. We've already seen some amazing Artwork of the other Races, but there isn't a whole lot of Horatio artwork so far.

Is the Sophons design is inspired by the Cantina Band from Star Wars ?

because looking back I told myself have seen this head somewhere...

Anyway all that artworks are just amazing. Need an artbook for my collection...

I had the exact same "where have I seen these guys" feeling about Sophons! Sophons just use envirosuits all the time like Quarians so we don't know what they exactly look like. Probably something like that anyway.

Outstanding as always. Seems like the Hissho's culture is rife with ceremonies. I also greatly enjoy the look of their cities. Say what you want, but they know how to build stylish things. I eagerly await artwork depicting life in the other Factions.

Wow, the artists who do the concepts for Endless Space really need a pat on the back and a round of applause. The aesthetic design alone sets this game apart leaps and bounds from other others. The Hissho in particular are fantastic: a seamless melange of Aztec, Shogunate Japanese, and more than a little bit of Turian aesthetics.

However, will we ever get a chance to see what the aliens look like underneath their envirosuits and armour? I for one would love to see a few pictures of Hissho diplomats (if they even exist :V) or scientists, so we can see at least a few uncovered.

Hissho artwork looks great! They definetly look like combination of Shogunate Japan and Turians, which gets my approval as I'm fan of Shogun 2 and ME. I'll may even give Hissho a try now.

Hopefully we'll see similar art for other races as well.

Yes! Advanced non-humanoid race! Me gusta!

It's quite rare to see non-humanoid races in space games nowadays, and a neutral (or good) at that! And as far as visuals go, Amoeba are now my 2nd favourite race after Sophons.

I love the artwork, marvellous as always!

The fact that most of it is featuring Amoebas certainly helps as well.

I also made an update video concerning the most recent patch. If anyone enjoys watching videos made by not-so-good commentators then feel free to have a look!

I have more then that but the forum limits to 4 images, I also need to get a proper one of the star map and combat still, which I will probably do while I'm making my video.
