To whom can help me,



I have read, followed, and reread the tutorials more than once and I can't find any information on how to spawn ships. I know how to modify, but it wont let me build, or IT IS NOT APPARENT HOW TO MAKE/BUILD A SHIP. I have yet to find any information on how to make a ship in this game anywhere on the forums or online. I feel stupid for asking, but please understand my frustration. Cause without this knowledge, it's a brick'd game.

When in the system viewer mode your ship construction is found in the bottom middle left of the screen under Development. Click ships to pick what the system will develop.

You don't build them in the fleet managment tab, gotta go to planet systems. It got me confused too lol

In the planet management screen, on the bottom left.

You click on "ships" (below the window) then you'll have the different templates you have available.

You should also note that you need enough free population to create a colony ship. If you do not have enough colonists the ship will wait in queue with 999 turns left to complete until you have enough population again.



Not exactly sure (someone correct me if I'm wrong) but each colony ship takes 1 pop and building one cannot reduce your planet to 0 population.

I have a problem with colonizing too. I can build them and send them to the system where I want to colonize. But once they get there, it says I have no colonize ship in range. I was able to colonize with the first ship they gave me, so I know how, but with the colonize ships I made it won't work.....what am I missing?

All fleets have the same 3D representation (for a given faction). Maybe your fleet doesn't have a colonization ship?

I've noticed one thing, when you custom-make colonization ships, you will most likely see that they don't cost 1 pop, as it seems that u only use the ship-structure of a colonization ship, but don't rly make a ship able to colonize another planet. So if it's custom-made, then most likely you won't be able to colonize anything.

I don't know if this is a bug or intended though.

I guess it was me fiddling with the colonize ship. I did that in my game and it didnt work. Started another game and now I can colonize....

To be able to colonize with a customized ship, you have to add a colonization module (support tab in the ship design view).
