Is this a bug?

50 turns in and there are no more node lines to travel. I haven't found any wormholes, either. This is with a medium-sized galaxy.

Seems to be an issue with the galaxy generation algorithm to me...

Do you still remember the densitiy you set for this particular galaxy?

Maybe it's an 1 out of 100 case here

can you travel through wormholes ? and i think warpdrives are broken so that also may explain it.

if there is a wormhole there you could travel through it, and if not i think thats when warpdrives were supposed to come into play however they are seemingly broken so we cant traverse where there is no lane ATM

I reloaded my game and looked at the map zoomed all the way in. There is actually a node line in the upper left hand corner, but it is in the color of one of the other factions and blends into the background. Not a bug, but an issue that needs to be addressed.

heh no that just means you need to gain access by either conquering or diplomatic relations. my only problem with diplomacy is there being some way to increase standings with a faction. currently i seem to just randomly go up a rank and then a few turns later back down a rank in standings with my know neighbors

What do you mean? I have no problem traveling along other colored lines.

but can you travel through their system without open borders policy or being at war with them??
