Hi!

I have a couple of questions.

I think i understand the difference between a normal sovereign system and an outpost but i don't get how an outpost can change into normal one.

Under the solar system name there is a coloured line? belt? (i don't know the proper word)Some solar systems don't have it. It increases and decreases. What does it represent ?

Why there is an influence ring between some solar systems ? I had two solar systems with these rings close to each other but they didn't merge, why?

From what I have been able to figure out the size of the spheres seems to be based on happiness. There is a building that will increse it also. The camo unit or something like that. Also the spheres won't merge till they physicaly touch.

It looks like you can't travel through sovereign systems unless you're at war, or have open borders. Basically the area inside the circles is off limits to neutral players. You can't colonize within another player's circle either.

It is not yet anything implemented that would show you how long it takes for an outpost to change into a full fledged colony, but when that happens, you get a ring around your system in the color of your empire.

The color bar represents your "ownership" of the system. It comes into play when someone tries to invade you. Then their fleets invasion attack strength is weighed against your systems defense strength (generated by your population, racial traits and some buildings) and your bar more or less slowly changes color to the attacking empire's color.

The colored ring is your area of influence. When you are not at war or have an open border contract with a player, that player cannot cross into your area of influence and vice versa.

The slightly white-bordered ring is the visual range of your planet.

Actually when you click a system that is just an outpost. At the top left it should say how many turns remaining until it becomes a colony. The annoyance is you have to check each individual outpost one at a time to get this information.
