Removal from the construction queue.

I clicked on a ship in my construction queue and it disappeared, no warning, just gone. Do I now lose all of that construction time?

If so, then why have they not added a warning preventing you from accidently removing things from the queue?

Say I wanted to put something from the bottom of the queue to the top how would I do this?

It would be nice if like 2/3rds of the points from one project could be uses to jumpstart another, and to prevent you from one-turning battleships smiley: smile

Yes, you lost all the construction time (if it's first in queue).

For changing order, it's not very important because you don't build all at once, it's one after the other, so except the first in queue, you can't delete the others and then change your order.

But an option would be a good idea.

Yes, you do lose the ship. If you had anything next in the queue you gain a bit of recompense for that order, it seems. But a warning would be nice, anyways. As would be a reordering function for the queue.

Really bad, they desperately need to install some form of warning here, and I really can't believe there is none. It's no joke, especially with things you have had in the queue for a long time.

I am frightened of clicking anything now in case it's a (Surrender and abandon game ) button.

Yes, you must act carefully in this game^^ But imagine that you want to cancel multiple things in the queue, with a confirmation each time, it can be noisy :s

A confirmation for the first part of a queue should be sufficient. Or even better for any part that has already been built on. You don't loose anything when canceling later parts of the queue.

lol, you want a warning for this? Can you imagine how annoying that would get?

Maybe a warning the very first time you click it away, but never again after that please.

Yes, just for the in-progress construction!

Good thoughts. In my experience so far, I do believe the game transfers some of the Industry from the thing you cancelled to the new item in queue. I'm not certain, just what I think I've noticed.

I've not noticed any recompense for cancelling the first action. I just wish that you could drag and drop the queue items around, would be a damn sight better. Sometimes you have an order that you're fine with, but then an event occurs and you want to halt you half completed (23 turn) industry project to pop out a battleship for defence. You should be able to just reposition the battleship to the top, which will push everything down, then after the battleship is done the rest of the industry project can tick away.

Good suggestion, get a poll going :P Also warning for the first item only would be nice maybe. Depends how it's implemented.

that comes down to the abbility to change die position of a certain object / project in the queue, what would be a great thing as it gives the opportunity to fast react on certain things like a pirate raid incoming to your undefended colonies.

in adition i really would like to have the abbility to stop, like mentioned before, a project in the queue and for the researchqueue to have some kind of easier way to build the queue and edit it.

in the end it would probably the best to have some kind of response if you try to terminate a production of an object.

i know that is mostly what was postet before, but i like the idea of putting all together in one posting to see it together.
