Tech: invulnerable empire

Hello!

With the last tech to the technologic tree (bottom part), it unlocks a star system improvment that gives "+1 tech portal on empire"

What's this plz?

I'm not sure if that improvement is working yet or what exactly it's meant to do. When I unlocked it, it showed as an infinite cost 'channeled' improvement just like Ind->Sci or Ind->Dust conversions, whereas in the tech research it shows as a 6600 production item.

I assume its meant to be a permanent improvement that lets your ships move between 2 systems that both have it instantly

Ok, pretty interesting, but if it's like "conversion improvments", then it's so easy to use it... You enable it, you travel, and you disable it?

Might be, but doesn't explain why the tech shows it as a 6600 production cost, I think it's just not working properly yet. didn't actually check the warping since my game was lost a turn or three later
