SO bought game today, played all day O.o



Anyway, it was alot of fun.



One balance issue: what is the point of kinetics? Beams seemed superior in every single way, both when used against me and when I used them. Missiles were also sort of akward to use at times cause of how long they take to come out.

I won with an expansion victory as empire, but I was close to a military victory too, so I did alot of fighting and fleet producing. Here are some things I would very much like to see in future versions:



Indicator for unexplored moons and fixable planet traits on empire overview list as well as on system view so I dont have to click every single planet.

Ability to queue ship building as fleets and give them a destination once fleet is complete.

Ability to make a fleet composition and auto queue to build it.

Ability to select battle cards if you want for auto battles.

New game settings that allow advanced start points.

Instead of having the buttons on right and left of screen in various views simply goto the NEXT system etc. It would be nice to have buttons near them that also go to next item that needs attention (IE, in system case, just ones that arent building etc.).

Continue playing button after a victory, just in case I want to wipe out all life in the galaxy.



Bug:

At one point, after hitting end turn, I moused off the monitor the game was in and over to my other monitor to check something. Game froze up and had to CAD it. I had done that multiple times before without a crash so maybe its just because it was as end turn was processing.



Awesome game! Gonna try a really small fast one next go.
