It's one of those things that never completes, like industry to dust conversion, but I cannot figure out what it does.



The description reads: +1 tech portal on empire.



What's a tech portal and what does it do? It's very mysterious for the ultimate unlock in a tree. smiley: confused

That's a joke though right? Cause there were no ships for me and I'm p. sure the AI just buys those ships with dust.

If you concentrate on building industry in a 5-6 planet system with an admin hero, you can pump out a new 15 CP fleet w/ dreadnaughts every 7 turns without using dust. This is before turn 100.



And the AI cheats.

It is one of the victory types. If you build the specified numbers of portals, you win.



Also dreadnaughts are nice, if you stuff them with lots of tech and have enough cp, but that's a bit offtopic.
