As I am ramping up production of ships I am feeling the itnerface is a bit tedious with respect to going to each planet to load the planet screen to see the hangar with the new ship, and then hit the button to form new fleet each time, then of course back to the galaxy map scroll to that planet to see the ship and then either merge it with the fleet I have there or move it to my rally point.



I'd like to see one or more of the following features to greatly improve this:



1) When constructing a ship, have an option (checkbox) to have the ship automatically deployed to the galaxy map once it is done.



2) Allow us to set rally points so constructed ships automatically get sent to the target destination

I agree with the second point, but for the first, it's not very important, but if you can place a rally point, then the game will automatically create a fleet for every ship you'ill build.

This would be useful but might just end up as clutter on the UI.

Rally points are an excellent idea. You don't need to use the system screen to launch the ships from the hangar. When you are in the universe screen, and you click on fleets already in the system, you will see a line in the lower left corner for each fleet. There is also a line there for the hangar. You can move ships in and out of the hangar here.

You can also see how many ships in the hangar of your systems on the empire screen and deploy them from there, can quickly deploy all your fleets in as little as 2 clicks per fleet on there.
