Hi all,

this is my first post, i preordered the game on steam, but had not the time to test it yet.

I have a queastion: Is it possible that we will see fighters and carrier battles in the final? And Spacestations?

Amplitude is seriously thinking about it, but later on. Obviously whatever they do, they want to do it right.

I hope they add drone carriers, because the life expectance of a fighter pilot in space it will be really short if the game want to be realistic (outer space is a place full of nasty radiations and void), it's better to be in a big spaceship with good protection than to roam in a small craft.

But... if endless space want to be a "2nd world war game with space background" it's ok the manned fighter concept.

Really like the drone idea Cabaen- maybe after battles and in an owned system drones could be 'refilled' so to speak. Would need a take a while for it to be believable/balanced though, maybe a bit slower than ship repair is at the minute.
