Sorry, I'm just one of the types who do not have a facebook account. We're still holding out here in germany, country of data safety concerns. XD

Even though I have a facebook account, the amount of life I share on it is quite low... and I like it like that. smiley: smile

Real name, I care about this project. The whole, pre-order bonus with the office in Paris and name was that i'd be a part of something epic.

Kind Regards,

I say both, Have your Steam or Forum name and then your real name.

And if someone did really help out put something next to their name like "Idea generator" or something funny?

I have to agree with this. I much prefer having my real name in there.

I don't care either way about which name is used, as I have a very common name anyway.

I would rather have my steam avatar be used as my photo, however. Pictures of me always come out wrong...

I'm totally fine with just my steam nickname and have no interest at all to have my real name on some wallpaper. :P

It was £3 more ... around 10% or so more, with all those features, at that price anyway.

I would personally prefer to use my real name, but as long as the devs give us a heads up when they are gathering names and how they are doing it I'm fine with their approach. If they did it just one day without warning then I would be a bit upset.

I would say either your Steam name or your real name. Each person should have the decision on how they want to be represented in the credits.

I would personally go for my real name.

I just had to pick the final voting-suggestion... I mean its to funny to ignore.

What you guys have to keep in mind is that this has to be manageable. Its not like they will manually engrave this in a great plaque letter by letter.

My suggestion here is that the dev-team tells when the snapshot from the preorders is to be made from steams service so that any and all can change their displayname in time.

Otherwise they could just use the profile-information if they do a dump from their own records at this site that trumphs the steam information for all ppl since I guess most filled out their profile here more meticulously.

That sounds like a good idea. (And much more easily managed for both sides.) I hope that the dev-team considers your suggestion.

its a great idea, but Steam Names are not unique... anyone can have it so there could be multiple "Your Name Here" in credits and nothing linking you to your own true name. why not use your nick from these forums or something more permanent

I don't know about that, I just searched my name on steam and it only came up with me.

some of us are more unique but i have seen many profiles with the same name.. thats why you always check out profiles on steamrep, and use the account number instead of profile name.

Hi All,

This is in regards to these two:

Your Steam Profile Name in the Credits of the game.

Your Steam Profile Picture in our offices in Paris.

I was hoping the Dev Team could consider this:

While I dont care what pictures go where (although I would prefer my real one) I do care if someone could please just use my real name instead of my "handle" on steam.

I say this because I genuinely care about this product and also for every "original" nick on steam theres literally hundreds of similar names.

To me it would mean more to have my real name in game. smiley: smile

Thanks.

Jason Woychesko

P.S. if anyone else thinks this is a nicer idea, please feel free to weigh in.

It would be much better to show our actual name instead of just our steam name.

I do like the idea of having it this way: "Firstname Nick Lastname" as Mindmurderer stated.
