This is probably just me being an idiot, but is there any way to see how long it will take a fleet to reach a certain star?

Currently no, at least not until you issue the "go to that star" command smiley: smile It's been suggested to add this kind of info.

I think that a quick reference would be very useful, especially when you need to quickly retaliate against an enemey invasion

When you have the fleet selected, there are small dots and large dots along the way the fleet moves. Each big dot represents one turn. You can count them, that's the only way so far.
