When systems start to get a high population it would be nice to see systems become a hive of activity.



It would also be nice for future trade systems to have little ships going between trading systems.



You know, make the place feel more crowed and alive.

I do want to see a more "animated" galaxy, with evidence of trade, natural and artificial wonders, etc. It would be wonderful if planets "came to life" with lights and cities visible on the surface, just as they are from space (if you are not too far away). It would also be great if some of the features and specials on planets were animated so we could truly differentiate them...weather patterns, storms, etc. And of course there should be a place for all the astronomical wonders and oddities we read about and see on TV - neutron stars, black holes, supernovas, just to name a few.

Would certainly be a nice visual addition to make the universe feel more alive seeing ships travel back and forth. They already do this on populated planets if you zoom in on them in the system build screens. I love the little things smiley: smile

It would definitely be a nice visual reference to quickly see just how important a planet or system was. You could quickly identify your trade hubs and major population centers in an intuitive way w/o having to hit the empire management screen.



Plus, it would awesome. Especially if/when starbases are added in some future expansion. smiley: biggrin
