Can anybody please tell me what the "endless" hero is that comes with the special emperor edition of the game.

"Hero Endless "Wrong Way" Corrigan (3036-4211 CE) was a famous navigator of the Whosis Clan offshoot of Horatio's Jersey Shore cousins. He is reputed to have discovered the other side of the galaxy while looking for a shorter route to his Craver girlfriend's black hole vacation spot. After proclaiming he had discovered a New World, he went home to great acclaim: the first galactic explorer of renown who didn't know where he was going when he started, didn't know where he was when he got there, and once he got home, didn't know where he'd been."

Heroes are recruitable agents to help run your colonies or command your fleets. The Endless were the precursor civilization that spread throughout the galaxy long before the current game's time frame.

The obvious prediction is that the special hero is a survivor of the Endless civilization. My guess is that he/she/it/they would be a member of the Virtual faction, as the consciousness of such a being could be stored across many thousands of years.
