AI decision to open fire?

I am having a distinct advantage in my games with AI never initiating combat at neutral star even if at war with me. It is the same on his territories as well. Is this hardcoded or can I mod it to attack at times?



At this point I can send a light scout to a neutral star and stop several armadas. The problem is even greater when in 3 way with other faction or pirates. Everyone orbits peacefully unless I attack and I can lock down the system with one scout vessel.

Can you point to which files might be involved or suspected???



Is it the registry.xml?

Or somewhere in AI/personality.xml?

I dunno. I remember having read about that bug somewhere in this forum. No idea if it's being fixed or not.

Sorry, I am worried it is a bug with my mod rather than vanilla but am unclear if same behavior is being seen in vanilla since update.



Anyone know the files involved?
